About College GPA Calculator

College GPA Calculator

Calculate your college Grade Point Average (GPA) with support for weighted courses, multiple semesters, and advanced planning features. Track your academic progress and plan your academic goals.

How It Works

GPA Formula: GPA = Total Grade Points ÷ Total Credit Hours

Grade Point Conversion (4.0 Scale):

  • A+ = 4.0, A = 4.0, A- = 3.7
  • B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7
  • C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C- = 1.7
  • D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, D- = 0.7, F = 0.0

Weighted GPA: Honors, AP, and IB courses receive additional grade points (typically +0.5 or +1.0)
