About Employee Tenure Calculator
Employee Tenure Calculator
Calculate accurate employment tenure, including years, months, and days of service. Track work anniversaries, business days worked, and vacation accrual for HR and employee management.
How It Works
Tenure Calculation: The calculator computes the exact time period between the start date and end date (or current date for active employees).
Formula: End Date - Start Date = Years, Months, Days
Business Days: Calculated by excluding weekends based on the selected work schedule:
- 5-Day Week: Excludes Saturdays and Sundays
- 6-Day Week: Excludes Sundays only
- 7-Day Week: Includes all days
Source: Standard date calculation methods used in HR systems worldwide (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP)
