How It Works

Tenure Calculation: The calculator computes the exact time period between the start date and end date (or current date for active employees).

Formula: End Date - Start Date = Years, Months, Days

Business Days: Calculated by excluding weekends based on the selected work schedule:

  • 5-Day Week: Excludes Saturdays and Sundays
  • 6-Day Week: Excludes Sundays only
  • 7-Day Week: Includes all days

Work Schedule Types
